Dry aquarium in Valladolid (Spain)

DRY  AQUARIUM

(C.E.I.P Narciso Alonso Cortés (Valladolid, Spain)

This aquarium has been made by year 3 and year 4 children using materials collected in the school’s recycling point.

There are different kinds of everyday rubbish, brought in by the kids along the school year , such as old wrapping paper, food nets and polystyrene trays, snack plastic bags, milk and juice carton, carrying bags, kitchen foil, etc…

Through this work, the children become aware of the possibility to transform their environment in a totally different one by reusing and recycling materials, not wasting new ones and with a very low cost. They also understand the advantages of working in group and collaborating with others.
